Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LCC Light Cleaning & Pest Control Inc. collects, uses, discloses, protects and retains personal information. Effective and last updated September 7, 2026.
1. Scope
LCC Light Cleaning & Pest Control Inc. ("LCC") is responsible for personal information under its control. This Policy covers the public website; Cleaning and Pest Control inquiries; contact, quote and booking requests; Careers and recruitment; and authorized employee, Employee Portal/PWA and Workforce services. A public request does not itself confirm availability, service, treatment, price or a contract.
2. Customer and Service Information
Depending on the interaction, LCC may collect a name, email address, telephone number, company, city or service area, property type, requested service, preferred contact method, description, preferred date or time, approximate property size, room information, messages, quote or booking details, service concerns and information reasonably needed to assess or provide an approved Cleaning or Pest Control service. Public forms warn users not to submit payment-card, banking, password, identification, medical or other unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Current Careers Application
The current initial application may collect contact details and preferred contact method; confirmation of Canadian work authorization; position; preferred work schedule, start timing and optional start date; availability; relevant experience; optional job-related Cleaning or Pest Control skills and current credentials; ability to travel to assigned Toronto/GTA work locations; optional driver's-licence status; optional resume or supporting documents; optional additional relevant information; declarations, privacy consent and an electronic signature.
It does not request date of birth, gender, residential street address, pay history or expectations, emergency contacts, references, conviction or background information, vehicle ownership, Ontario-wide travel, sponsorship or detailed employer history. Applicants should not add these or unrelated sensitive details to optional fields or documents.
4. Recruitment and Historical Information
Authorized recruitment may create records about application status, review, communications, interviews, decisions and relevant qualification verification. Historical applications created under an earlier form may contain fields no longer requested and remain protected for applicable recruitment, retention or legal purposes. If an applicant advances, LCC may separately request information genuinely needed for interviews, job-related verification, hiring or onboarding; that later collection is not part of the current initial application.
5. Employee and Workforce Information
Authorized services may process employee identity and contact information, employment type, position, start date, onboarding and lifecycle status, account and authentication information, availability and acknowledgements, scheduling eligibility, jobs, sites, assignments, schedules, work instructions and approved operational records. Sensitive protected information is not intended for ordinary offline PWA storage.
6. Automatic and Aggregate Information
LCC and its providers process limited technical information to deliver, secure and measure digital services, including IP address, browser or device information, requested routes, timestamps, network and security events, and session or authentication status. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, human verification, aggregate Web Analytics and edge traffic analytics. LCC Business Insights also uses aggregate non-PII server-side events about accepted request categories and broad rejected-form categories. These measurements are not used by LCC for behavioural advertising.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Necessary cookies or comparable technologies support security, authentication sessions, authorization, CSRF protection, human verification and requested functions. A local browser setting stores the light or dark theme preference. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage to collect usage metrics; Cloudflare edge analytics measures aggregate network requests. LCC does not currently use GA4, Google Tag Manager, advertising cookies, behavioural advertising or remarketing tracking. See the Cookie and Analytics Notice.
8. Uses of Information
LCC uses information to respond to inquiries; assess quotes and booking requests; provide approved Cleaning or Pest Control services; communicate about requests or concerns; administer Careers, recruitment, hiring and onboarding; operate employee accounts, availability, jobs, assignments and schedules; secure and measure services; deliver transactional communications; maintain records; prevent abuse; and meet applicable obligations. Submitting a request or application does not automatically enrol a person in marketing.
9. Service Providers and Disclosure
LCC may use providers for hosting, security, human verification, databases, private files, communications, analytics and approved operations. Information may also be disclosed with appropriate consent, where required or permitted by law, to investigate abuse or protect safety and rights, or in an appropriate business transaction. LCC does not disclose personal information for behavioural advertising under these practices.
10. Security and Retention
LCC uses reasonable safeguards such as access controls, authentication, transport encryption, restricted access and audit records. No electronic method is completely secure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the applicable service, recruitment, employment, operational, security or legal purpose, then may be securely deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
11. Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, a person may request access to or correction of personal information, ask a privacy question, or withdraw consent where available. Some records may need to be retained or access limited where law permits or requires. Browser controls may remove cookies or local storage, but blocking necessary technologies may stop protected features from working.
12. Other Jurisdictions, Changes and Contact
Some providers may process information outside Ontario or Canada, where local laws apply; LCC does not promise all information remains in Canada. LCC may update this Policy prospectively and will not treat continued use as consent where additional consent is required. Contact LCC through the public contact page or info@lcclightcleaning.com.
